# Google Reviews FAQ

1. **Q: Can I monitor competitor reviews?** No. Only reviews on your own verified Business locations are accessible.
2. **Q: Will I see reviews posted before authorisation?** Usually yes, but limited by Google’s API retention policies.
3. **Q: Can I respond to reviews from Analyse?** No. Review responses must be made within your Google Business dashboard.
4. **Q: Are reviewer names and photos shown?** If made public by the reviewer, yes.
5. **Q: Can I see the location each review applies to?** Yes. Location metadata is included when multi-location access is configured.
6. **Q: Do I get notified about new negative reviews?** You can configure alerts in Analyse for sentiment or rating thresholds.
7. **Q: Can I track review trends over time?** Yes. Reviews are timestamped and can be visualised in dashboards.
8. **Q: Why are some reviews redacted or unavailable?** The content may have been flagged or removed by Google.
9. **Q: Are star ratings always included?** Yes. Ratings are a core field in Google Reviews data.
10. **Q: Can Analyse track reviews from mobile or desktop users separately?** No. Device-level metadata is not included in the API.
