# How do I navigate the Author panel in Analyse?
## Learn how to access and use the Author Panel to analyse user data.
### **How to Access the Author Panel**
1. **Navigate to the Mentions Tab**
- Go to the **Mentions** tab in Analyse.
- Click on an individual mention to open its details.
2. **Click on the Author Name**
- Selecting the author’s name or handle will open the **Author Panel**.
- Here, you can view insights about the user.

### **Key Features of the Author Panel**
- **Profile Overview** – Displays the author's handle, display name, and profile image (if available).
- **Total Mentions** – Shows how many times the author has posted within your dataset.
- **Sentiment Breakdown** – Indicates the percentage of the author's mentions categorized as Positive, Neutral, or Negative.
- **Engagement Metrics** – Includes retweets, likes, and replies for the author's posts.
- **Influence Score** – Measures the author's reach based on follower count and engagement.
