# How do I edit or delete a scheduled post?

## Learn how to modify or remove scheduled posts in Publish before they go live.

Sometimes a **scheduled post needs to be updated or removed** before publishing. In Publish, you can **edit, reschedule, or delete** posts easily.

#### **How to Edit a Scheduled Post**

1. Click on **Content Calendar** in the navigation menu.
2. Locate the **scheduled post** you want to edit.
3. Click the post to open the **edit screen**.
4. Modify the **text, media, or scheduled time**.
5. Click **Save Changes** to update the post.

**Tip:** If the post is already **approved**, you may need to submit it for re-approval before changes take effect.

#### **How to Delete a Scheduled Post**

1. Go to the **Content Calendar**.
2. Find the **scheduled post** you want to remove.
3. Click the **Delete icon (trash bin)** next to the post.
4. Confirm deletion when prompted.

**Warning:** Deleted posts **cannot be recovered** once removed.

#### **Best Practices for Editing & Deleting Posts**

- **Double-check post details** before scheduling to avoid unnecessary edits.
- **Use the Content Calendar** to track and manage scheduled posts easily.
- **Only delete posts if necessary** to avoid content gaps in your strategy.

#### **Troubleshooting Editing & Deleting Issues**

1. **Issue: “I can’t edit a scheduled post.”** 
     1. Check if the post is **already approved**—it may need re-approval.
2. **Issue: “The delete option isn’t available.”** 
     1. Only **Publishers and Admins** can delete scheduled posts.
