How to Use the Topic Wheel

1. Navigate to the Topic Wheel

  • Open the Trends tab.
  • Select the Topic Wheel visualisation.

2. Understanding Parent and Child Topics

  • Parent Topics – Broad themes that represent key discussion areas.
  • Child Topics – More specific subtopics branching from parent themes.
  • The Topic Wheel groups these together to show relationships between different discussion points.

3. Interacting with the Topic Wheel

  • Click on a Parent Topic to expand and reveal Child Topics.
  • Hover over a topic to see mention volume and sentiment breakdown.
  • Apply filters to refine the topic analysis (e.g., by sentiment or date).
