To collect and analyse Facebook and Instagram data in Analyse, you need to authorise specific permissions. Here’s what they are and why they matter.
Why do I need to authorise my profile?
To collect data from Facebook, an authenticated token must be generated by a page administrator. This authentication allows DataEQ to access the necessary data through the Facebook API.
Why do I need to enable all of the permissions?
Facebook’s API changes frequently, and DataEQ retrieves all available permissions to ensure uninterrupted data collection. However, only the permissions relevant to Analyse and Engage are actively used. This ensures that no critical data is lost if Facebook updates its API.
What permissions are required and why?
The following permissions are linked to the pages or profiles you manage:

Manage ads for ad accounts |
