Troubleshooting Profile Authorisation

  1. Issue: "Authorisation failed" error
    1. Ensure you have admin permissions for the social media account.
    2. Log out of all personal accounts before attempting authorisation.
    3. Try clearing your browser cache and retrying the process.
  2. Issue: Private messages are not appearing in Analyse
    1. Check that your profile authorisation has not expired (some platforms require periodic reauthorisation).
    2. Reauthorise the account following the steps above.

Best Practices for Authorised Profiles

  • Regularly check that your profile authorisation is active.
  • Limit access to team members who need it.
  • Reauthorise accounts if you change social media passwords.
